Bosagarians

Bosagaris ( in Khakass “puғa” - literally. Bull) is a seok in the Khakass ethnic group of Kyzyls .

The Khakassian seok “puғa” bore the official name of the Bugasar or Bosagar family. According to legend, the Bosagarians came from a girl who was saved by a mythical gray bull, in which there was the life force of cattle. The petrified image of this bull was under the Kunya mountain, and according to an older version, under the Khizil-haya mountain, in the valley of the Black Iyus river. The ethnonym "Puғa" was found among the names of the families of the Kamasintsy (Bugasan) and Kyrgyz (Bugu).
