Story
Jimmy Albright, nicknamed "Kid", is engaged in boxing secretly from parents who consider this sport to be extremely traumatic . He has to lie to his family that he is engaged in lessons with his classmate Daisy, but actually runs to training. Jimmy takes part in the local boxing championship. After the first victory, his elder brother finds out about his hobby, but seeing Jimmy’s desire to do boxing, his brother does not betray him and covers him in front of his parents.
Seeing the success of "Baby" in the championship, detractors talk about his hobby to his father Jimmy and he forbids him to continue to engage in boxing. But suddenly the trainer of "Baby", with whom Jimmy was very close, dies. Before his death, the coach wrote a letter to Jimmy's parents, and they allow him to continue to participate in the championship. In the final of the competition, Kid wins last year’s champion and becomes the winner.
