Career

Club

Manuela Blazi is a graduate of the Roma club. In 1998, he was loaned to the club " Lecce ", which included 12 games. Upon his return to Roma, Fabio Capello , the head coach of the Romans, still did not trust the young player, who played only in 7 club matches. On January 22, 2000, Blazy made his debut in a series A match with Piacenza (2: 1).

In the summer of 2000, Blazy was rented by Perugia , as part of a deal, when Hidetoshi Nakata was transferred to the Jalorossi camp. After one season, Perugia bought out the Blazi contract for 700 thousand euros [2] . As a part of the club, Blazy spent a total of 3 seasons. It was in this club that Manuele, for the first time in his career, was put in the place of the defensive midfielder [3] .

In 2003, Blazy, in the status of a free agent, moved to Juventus , and was immediately leased to Parma [2] . A career in this club was short-lived: an analysis taken after the match on September 14 with Perugia gave a positive result for nandrolone [4] [5] . He was disqualified for a period of 6 months, until March 17, 2004 [6] . Later this period was reduced by 1 month.

Blasi in the "Napoli"

In 2004, Blazi returned to Juventus and became a solid player in the main team of the club, winning the competition from Alessio Tuckinardi and Stephen Appia . But the next season, with the arrival at the club, Patrick Vieira Blazy lost a place at the heart of the team, speaking sometimes on the left flank of the defense and midfield, where he replaced Zambrotta .

In the summer of 2006, after Calcopoli , Blazy was rented by Fiorentina [7] . On October 22 of the same year, he scored his first goal for all 139 matches in Serie A. Despite the fact that Blazi became the player of the base team, Fiorentina did not buy his transfer at the end of the season. In the summer of 2007, he returned to Juventus, but his arrival was not included in the plans of the team’s head coach, Claudio Ranieri , who put the player on the transfer. He was interested in English " Manchester City " [8] , but the deal did not take place.

In August 2007, Blazy was bought by the Napoli Club, which paid 2.5 million euros for a player’s 50% of the player’s rights [2] [9] . In the first season in the new club Blazy spent one of the best periods of his career [10] . He was put on the right edge of the midfield, becoming one of the leaders of the team [11] . On May 22, 2008, Napoli bought out the second part of the Blazy contract, paying 2.4 million euros [12] . After that, Blazy spent another season at the club, performing in almost all the games of his team.

On August 31, 2009, Blazi transferred, on a loan with a priority right of redemption, to Palermo [13] . He made his debut in the team in the match of the third round with " Bari "

On July 1, 2011, he moved to Parma as part of the acquisition of Napoli by Blerim Jemaili [14] [15] . On January 25, 2012, he signed a contract with Lecce [16] [17] .

International

Blasi played for the Italian national teams of all ages. On August 18, 2004, he made his debut in the first team in a match with Iceland . This game was the debut for Marcello Lippi on the national team coaching bench. Total for the national team Blazy spent 8 games.
