Sylvabestia tenuis is a fossil species of winged insects, the only representative of the genus Sylvabestia from the family Sylvabestiidae . They are included in the order Cnemidolestodea , and were initially attributed to grilloblatides .

History
Fossil remains were found in the Perm region ( Chekarda ). The age of the find is the Lower Permian period ( Kungurian stage ). The generic name is given in two words: “Silver River” (Sylva River) and the Latin name of animals ( Latin bestia - animal).
Description
Fore wing about 16-17 mm long. Body length (without abdomen) - 9 mm; abdominal fragment - 5 mm.
