Cavangolend - Bantustan in South West Africa (now Namibia ). It was created in 1970 as a homeland for immigrants from Kavango living in this territory. The area of ​​Bantustan is 41 701 sq. Km, the population totaled about 28 thousand people. The administrative center is the city of Rundu .

In 1973, local government was granted.

Cavangoland, like other bantustans in South West Africa, was abolished in May 1989 at the beginning of the transition to Namibian independence.
