Lucky Luke ( eng. Lucky Luke ) - a series of comics, first published in 1947 by the Belgian artist Maurice de Bever , better known under the pseudonym "Morris". The comic strip Lucky Luke was first published on December 7, 1946 on the pages of the Belgian magazine Spirou . His first adventure was heading Arizona 1880 . A few years later, de Bever began a collaboration with writer Rene Gosinny , who began to write comic book scripts. Their first collaboration was the story of Des rails sur la prairie , Published on August 25, 1955 in Spirou . In 1967, de Bever and Gosinny changed the publication to the French magazine Pilote .
After the death of Gosinny in 1977, de Bever collaborated with various screenwriters. Maurice de Bever died in 2001 at the age of 77, but two years later, the French artist Ashde continued the comic book series about Lucky Luke.
