Watashitachi no Tamura-kun ( わ た し た ち の 田村 く ん Watashitati no Tamura-kun , Russian “Our Tamura-kun”) is a series of light novels by the Japanese writer Yuyuko Takeemia . The first volume was published in the fall of 2004 by Dengeki HP, later MediaWorks reprinted the first volume and released a sequel, Watashitachi no Tamura-kun 2 under the Dengeki Bunko label as separate books. The manga adaptation of the novel by Sati Kurafuji has been published in the Dengeki Comic Gao! Senen magazine since May 27, 2006 , and is also published by MediaWorks. As of January 26, 2008, four tank booms were released, the manga is officially considered completed. There is also a radio show based on Watashitachi no Tamura-kun , its compilation on two discs was released for sale on April 30, 2007 .

Story
- Storyline
The plot of Watashitachi no Tamura-kun revolves around the main character of the story, Yukisada Tamura. The action of the novel begins when he is in the third (last) grade of high school. Yukisada is fascinated by a strange girl named Komaki Matsuzawa, who claims to be from another planet and really wants to return there. One day, Yukisada confesses to Komaki her feelings, but immediately after that her grandmother unexpectedly dies and Komaki is forced to move to another city. For some time they manage to keep in touch through letters, although Komaki stops correspondence during the entrance exams to high school (however, Yukisada continues to write to her).
Moving to high school, Yukisada begins to worry about one of her classmates, a girl named Hiroka Soma. Weak and unable to fend for herself, Hiroka became an outcast among younger students, she is constantly bullied, which is why she does not want to leave the house. Yukisada does not ignore her like most classmates, but instead tries to make friends with her and help her gain self-esteem. Hiroka soon falls in love with Yukisada and once confesses his love to him. All this time, Yukisada continued to write Komaki, among other things, telling her about Hiroka. Then, after a long break from Komaki, a letter arrives in which she asks him: who is Hiroka for him? Yukisada finds herself in a difficult situation, between the old love for Komaki and the new love for Hiroka.
- Storyline
A two-chapter story entitled Takaura-sanchi no Kazokukeikaku (高 浦 さ ん ち の 家族 計画) is dedicated to Yukisada Tamura's friend, Shinichi Takaura and his younger sister, Io Tamai. Io hates everything related to relationships, affection, and love, and Shinichi, seeing this, tries to rehabilitate the word “love” in her eyes.

Yukisada Tamura ( 田村 雪 貞 Tamura Yukisada )

Yukisada Tamura is the main character of the novel. He is interested in the history of Japan, in particular, he is attracted to the Kamakura period , as well as the customs and customs of that time. In the high school graduation class, Yukisada falls in love with her friend and classmate Komaki Matsuzawa and once declares her love. Almost immediately after this, Komaki has to move to another city due to the death of his grandmother. The Tamura family, counting Yukisadu himself, consists of five people - parents, older and younger brothers, Nao and Takayuki. In principle, Yukasad is a good person, albeit somewhat frivolous, from those to whom everything in life was given quite easily. His favorite dishes are eel and homemade jiaozi . A favorite character from Japanese history is Hojo Tokimune .
Komaki Matsuzawa ( Japanese 松澤 小 巻 Matsuzawa Komaki )

In the high school graduation class, Komaki was a classmate of Yukisada. When she was twelve years old, her parents and older brother died in an accident. This tragedy greatly influenced her character - Komaki becomes very silent, not letting anyone close to her. Moving to third grade, she meets Yukisada and gradually opens her heart to him. However, during the summer holidays, Komaki's grandmother unexpectedly dies, who was her guardian after the death of her parents. She has to move to another city in the house of distant relatives.
Komaki is a very strange girl who says she was born on another planet and really wants to go back. At school, she was one of the best in academic performance, and in the school running team she was the best in the relay race of 200 meters. Her favorite dish is curry .
Hiroka Soma ( Japanese 相 馬 広 広 So: ma Hiroka )

Hiroka is a classmate of Yukisada during his first year in high school. Being very beautiful, she, nevertheless, is enclosed in herself and has few relations with anyone. As a result, most of her classmates ignore her, having awarded her the nickname “Queen of the Tundra” because of her cold character. While studying in high school, other students mocked her, as a result, she did not go to school for a whole year. For the entrance exams to high school, as a tutor, she was helped to prepare by Yukisada's elder brother, Nao Tamura. Hiroka knows how to cook well.
Former classmates and in high school tried to bully Hiroka, but Yukisada did everything possible to encourage her and help her gain confidence. In the end, her friendship with Yukisida grew into love. One day, Hiroka takes courage to tell him about her feelings and, ultimately, Hiroka and Yukisada share their first kiss with each other.
Hasiya ( Japanese я 谷 )

Nurse at the school where Yukisada and Hiroka are studying. She likes to help Hiroka and talk with her and Yukisada about various things. Pupils called her Aoi kajitsu by her eyes ( 青 い 果 実 , "unripe fruit") .
Sinichi Takaura ( Japanese 高 浦 真 一 Takaura Sinichi )

Sinichi is Yukisada's best friend, they have been familiar since at least the first grade of high school, when Sinichi was the head of the class. One way or another, he constantly worries about his younger sister Jo.
Io Tamai ( 玉井 伊欧 ама и Tamai Io ) Io is the half-sister of Shinichi, born to his father’s mistress. Io despises her mother, because she believes that she agreed to such a role because of the money of the Takaur family. Io’s relationship with relatives is quite complicated, she often changes hobbies - from reading books to studying black magic. Once she even launched a website dedicated to aesthetics. Io with extreme distrust of everything related to the words “love” or “intimacy”. Her pet is a Japanese shiba inu dog named Potato.
Reiko Tamai ( 玉井 麗 子 Tamai Reiko ) Mother Jo. She is the lover of Shinichi's father and lives in Takaur’s house. Reiko constantly conflicts with other family members (as well as with his own daughter), but, oddly enough, he gets along well with Shinichi, since he believes that he has a good influence on Jo.
Ranobe
In addition to the main novel, there are also several stories that can be described as spin-offs , not published with Watashitachi no Tamura-kun under the same cover and dedicated to the minor characters of the novel. The first story, entitled "Watashitashi no Chō! Tamura-kun ”was published in November 2005 in the anthology of Dengeki hPa. The second, titled Himitsu Melancholy, was released in July 2006 in a special issue of Dengeki Comic Gao!
Radio Show
The radio show ( Drama CD ) based on "Watashitachi no Tamura-kun" was broadcast in the program of the MediaWorks publishing house "Dengeki Taishō" from December 23, 2006 to January 13, 2007 (four episodes). The production was a success with fans (not least due to the fact that the authors managed to attract quite popular seiyuu to the project) and subsequently relayed it on the air of several other radio stations. A compilation of the radio show was released on two CDs on April 30, 2007; in addition to the usual bonuses in such cases (accessories for a mobile phone, etc.), a booklet with an original short story by Yuyuko Takemiya “Ohige Girls” dedicated to Yukisada’s older brother, Nao Tamura, was attached to the package with disks.
