Clip

The director of the clip is Jake Nava . It was shot under the influence of American Beauty , who won the 1999 Academy Award , and portrays the main character, who is upset about the guy. The heroine Lohan yearns for a neighbor guy who is mistreated, watching him through the window. The video was shot by a former model - actor - Drew Fuller as a guy Lohan. The video shows the ups and downs of her relationship with Fuller, and Lohan ponders this.

The video begins with Lohan walking towards his house in the vicinity, and covering the eyes of his boyfriend, who lives next door. His father, obviously, does not want them to meet, so he pushes the curtain and begins to quarrel violently with his son. Lohan begins to rage about it and returns home. In her bedroom, she sees her lover watching her from her bedroom. She smiles, incredibly happy to see him. The next morning, Lohan and Fuller make love in his trailer. That night, at an outdoor party, Lohan and her boyfriend look pleased with each other. Everyone is shocked when Fuller's father appears at the party like a fury. His father again forbids him to walk with Lohan and orders him to go home immediately. Both head home, away from Lohan, who is sobbing. Later that night, we see Lohan in night clothes, by the refrigerator. She was surprised to see her boyfriend staring at her through the window of her house, showing her to run away from home with him. With a couple of friends, they ride in a car in a wasteland. His father reappears, and Fuller runs into him. Enraged, his father pushes him to the ground with all the dope, while Lohan is scared. Fuller tells her that their relationship will not work out. Lohan in tears destroys everything in the trailer. The video ends with her lover turning off the lights in her room. Throughout the video, we see Lohan singing with his band in the garage.
