Story
The film traces the history of the Iroquois League in the second half of the 18th century using two leaders of the Mohawk tribe as an example. One of themLajaheo , was destined to become the leader of a tribe, another, Tayendanegea is an outstanding military leader and subsequently also leader of the Mohawks. Helping their longtime British allies, first in the French-Indian war , and then in the American Revolution , the Iroquois become hostages of their addictions. Their once powerful League was defeated, the Treaty Chain was broken, and they themselves were expelled from their lands.
