Long-tube sage ( Latin Salvia macrosiphon ) is a species of the genus Salvia ( Salvia ) in the family Lamiaceae .

This species is common in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Transcaucasia and Turkey, where it grows along the edges of the fields. This is a perennial plant with a white whisk. It blooms in May, and bears fruit in June.
