Walter Stacy Keach Jr. ( born Walter Stacy Keach Jr. , born June 2, 1941 ) is an American actor , broadcaster . Familiar to the Russian audience for his roles in the films " New Centurions ", " Blue and Gray ", the role of Mike Hammer in the television series of the same name based on the works of Mickey Spillane "Detective Mike Hammer" .

Biography
Walter Stacy Keach, Jr. was born on June 2, 1941 in the city of Savannah, Georgia, USA. His mother Mary Kane was an actress, and father Walter Stacy Keach was the director of the theater. Stacy has a younger brother, James. In June 1959, Stacy graduated from Van Nice High School. Then he studied at the universities of Berkeley, Yale and the London Academy of Theater Arts.
Career
He starred in the cult film of the comic duo Chich Marina and Tommy Chong “ Stoned ” in the role of Sergeant Stedenko ( English Sgt. Stedenko ), a policeman chasing unlucky drug dealers.
He played the role of Cameron Alexander in the " American X-History ."
Currently actively working as a speaker. It is his voice that sounds behind the scenes of many popular science films shown on the Discovery channel.
Personal life
He was married four times: to Katherine Baker (1964-1970), Marilyn Aiken (1975-1979), Jill Donahue (1981-1986), and Malgosia Tomassi (from 1986 to the present). There are two children from the last marriage.
