62 Aries ( lat. 62 Arietis ), or Tianhe ( Chinese 天 阿 ), is a solitary star in the constellation Aries . It is located at a distance of 884 light years (271 parsecs) from the Sun. Initially, parallax was estimated at 3.35 ± 1.16 mas [1] , then it was specified 3.69 ± 0.49 mas [3] .

The star is a yellow giant of the spectral class G5 III [4] . Thanks to a visible magnitude of 5.52, it is visible to the naked eye [5] .

Title
In Chinese astrology, 62 Aries is called 天 阿 (Tiānhé, Tianhe) which means “Heavenly River”, because this star is located separately in the asterism of the Heavenly River, which takes place in the Chinese constellation Hairy Head [6] .
