The national flag of Esvatini was adopted on October 30, 1967. [1] It is a cloth with five horizontal stripes; in order from above, blue, yellow, red, yellow and blue. On the central, red stripe two spears and a staff are depicted, on top of them an African shield. The staff and shield are decorated with injobo - decorative tassels; the bird feather injobo depicted on the flag designates the king .

Each of the colors of the flag has a specific meaning. Red symbolizes past battles and struggles, blue symbolizes peace and stability, yellow symbolizes the country's natural resources. The black and white coloring of the shield symbolizes the peaceful coexistence of the black and white race.
