Biography
James Michael Tyler, the youngest of six children, was born on May 28, 1962 in Winona , Mississippi , USA. His father was a retired Air Force captain, and his mother was a housewife. When Tyler was 11 years old, his parents died and he moved to Anderson , South Carolina to live with a sister. There, he completed a two-year program at the local Anderson College (now Anderson University ). He then studied at Clemson University , where he graduated with a degree in geology. During his studies, he was a member of the student theater, so he decided to become an actor. He received a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Georgia in 1987.
In 1988, he moved to Los Angeles and became an assistant producer and assistant editor of the film “ Fat Man and Baby ”. Tyler married personal trainer Barbara, they live in Hollywood . Tyler is interested in music, tennis, golf and jogging.
