Niederkuni ( Latvian. Nīderkūni ) - Daugavpils microdistrict ( Latvia ), located in the southwestern part of the city [1] [2] .

Located between the railway to Vilnius ( St. Petersburg-Warsaw railway ) and Griva . An old believer's prayer house is located in the district (one of the six existing in the city), founded at the beginning of the 20th century . In 1897, there were 531 people, Orthodox - 112, Roman Catholics - 219 people. Opposite the district is the railway station of Griva (previously Kalkuny before 1921). Wooden one-story building, with Manes in the area can be reached on the street. Communal. The central street of the area is Tirgonu street.
City bus routes No. 6 “Bus station - Niderkuny” and No. 7 “Bus station - Kalkuny” ply through the district.
