History
The history of the college began in 1947 with a training and consulting center at the Correspondence College of Soviet Trade .
After almost half a century, the training and consulting center became a full-fledged branch of the Moscow Correspondence College of Soviet Trade, and subsequently the college was renamed the Trade and Economic.
Since 1996, the educational institution has the status of an independent state educational institution of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation.
In 2008, it was transformed into the Tver College of Trade and Economics, a federal state educational institution of secondary vocational education, abbreviated as Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education TTEK. Since 2012, the legal name is the state budget educational institution of secondary vocational education “Tver Trade and Economic College”.
