Biography

In 1898 he graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Languages ​​at St. Petersburg University , where he studied Chinese , Mongolian , and Manchu languages. From 1899 to 1922 - Head of the Department of Korean Literature, Professor at the Oriental Institute in Vladivostok . In 1920-1922 - the first rector of the State Far Eastern University . He is the author of many Korean language study guides. In 1922 he emigrated to Korea , and then to China .
