As a teenager, while visiting a nightclub in Los Angeles, Laura met Althea Flint, the wife of Larry Flint , and after a while began to pose for men's magazines such as Hustler and Penthouse . She began acting in porn films since 1983 under the pseudonym Amber Lynn - after her friend Ginger Lynn took up this.
