Description
The burospin paradise kingfisher reaches a length of 23 cm. It has a red beak. The head, nape and wings are brownish, the body is light reddish. Its long tail tail feathers, characteristic of paradise kingfishers, are bluish.
Habitat
The Burospin Paradise Kingfisher lives in deeply forested areas in the extreme east of New Guinea. His food consists mainly of insects, which he catches on the ground.
