Peder Möller ( Dat. Peder Møller ; February 28, 1877 , Brønderslev , now Northern Jutland - July 1, 1940 , Copenhagen ) - Danish violinist .
He studied, and then for 15 years he lived and worked in Paris , upon returning to his homeland he entered the Royal Chapel in 1910 . Best known as the first performer of the Concerto for violin and orchestra written for him by Karl Nielsen : premiered on February 28, 1912 (on the day of the 35th anniversary of the soloist), Nielsen conducted, after the first performance, the composer and soloist played a concert in Stockholm , Oslo , Paris and Berlin [1] . He was also the first performer of the violin concert of Siegfried Salomon ( 1916 ). As an ensemble musician, Agnes Adler performed as part of the piano trio. Since 1914 he taught at the Copenhagen Conservatory .
The Peder Møller Prisen Award has been awarded to chamber music performers in Denmark since 1944 .
