Family History
The clan originates from the Slobodsko-Ukrainian landowner, Cossack, elder class — Ivan Ivanovich Bezruchenko , who received the estate under the letter of the Tsar, Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov , from 1672 for notifying the governor of the prince, Grigory Grigoryevich Romodanovsky , about the beginning of separate actions, and the mutiny of the hetman left-bank Ukraine, Ivan Bryukhovetsky, and further already for military merits while participating in the liquidation of the consequences of an attempt to postpone the Left Bank from the Russian Kingdom.
Cases of the Bezruchko-Vysotsky nobility, it is said that Ivan Ivanovich Bezruchenko was a priest . Already at the end of the XVII century, starting with Ivan Ivanov, who took priestly rank, representatives of the clan began to be referred to as "Armless-Vysotsky" or more often, simply as "Vysotsky", without a prefix.
The Bezruchko-Vysotsky clan, by right, can be reckoned among the noble families that emerged from the foreman of the faithful Cossacks of Sloboda Ukraine, who once defended, along with the boyar’s children, the independence of Russia in battles with the Turkish and Crimean invaders. [2]
