History
The farm was founded in 1874 under the name Malinovskoe and was the site of the settlement of the Don Cossacks. Subsequently, the farm was transferred to the participant of the Turkestan war, Major Valentin Astakhov.
During the Civil War, the farm was a clash between local peasants and White Guards. After the approval of Soviet power, the farm was renamed Astakhov and subsequently incorporated into the Rostov region .
