Body length about 3 mm. The color of the millet is black (the sides are lighter, the bottom is black), the opistosome is dark brown (the sides are lighter, the bottom is black). [one]

The genus name is combined from the words Afro (short for Africa) and + the name of the genus Marengo . [one]
