Night Flight (2005 film)

Lisa Reisert is the administrator of a luxury hotel in Miami and is panicky afraid of flying. After attending her grandmother’s funeral in Dallas, Texas, she takes a night flight ticket to Miami, Florida. During registration, she meets an elderly lady who is very fond of the works of her father, a doctor-writer. Lisa gives the old woman a book, saying that she had already read. Then she meets a passenger named Jackson Rippner (English Ripper) - a handsome with blue eyes, whom she finds charming and begins to drink alcohol under his charm, while they both await the flight, rescheduled due to heavy rain. Lisa points out that his last name is Ripper, and Jackson says that since 10 years, no one has ever called him Jack. When boarding a plane, Lisa finds out that he is flying the same flight, and his place is next to her.

After taking off, Rippner says that he is an employee of a terrorist group that intends to kill Charles Kif and his family, Under Secretary of National Security, and Lisa plays an important role in these plans, because she has influence in the Lux Atlantic Hotel, where the Kif family should to arrive. In the event of her refusal to cooperate, Jackson will have to give an order to the killer, who is holding her father’s sight in a house in Miami.

Lisa is desperately trying to save the situation, her first attempt was unsuccessful. The old woman came up to her to talk about the book, and Lisa tried to write a warning there. Nevertheless, Rippner later finds out about this and knocks Lisa out with a blow between his eyes. Lisa is unconscious for half an hour, then wakes up and goes to the toilet, where he writes soap on the mirror that the person who is sitting next to her has a bomb. When she leaves the toilet, Rippner meets her at the door, who pushes her back into the toilet, shutting her mouth with her hand.

Lisa asks not to kill her father, at that moment Jackson notices a scar on her chest and begins to find out the history of his origin. She refuses to tell him, and Jackson begins to choke her, and then erases the inscription on the mirror. The stewardess is outraged by their behavior, Jackson flirts with her and leaves with Lisa in place.

Kif’s assassination plan is to launch a homing missile ( FGM-148 Javelin ) from a boat nearby the hotel on the pretext of fishing, which will hit the room where Kif’s entire family will be. In order to implement the plan, Lisa is obliged to call the hotel from the plane and give instructions on the relocation of the family from number 3825 to number 4080 overlooking the harbor. After the first unsuccessful attempt, in which the call was interrupted due to a thunderstorm, Lisa continues to talk on the phone, imitating communication with her assistant. However, Jackson sees that a neighboring passenger is having communication problems and grabs a phone from her, showing her that he cannot be fooled.

Then Lisa still makes this ill-fated call, and Kifu will be rebooked. The Secret Service checks the room, allowing Kifu and his family to move in. After checking the boat and not finding any weapons on it, the guards leave. After the plane arrives at the airport, Lisa tells Rippner how she got a scar on her chest (she was raped in broad daylight in the parking lot, the rapist kept a knife at her throat), and sticks a pen into his throat with all his might, taking the phone from him , and runs out of the plane to the terminal. While the flight attendants call the rescue team, Lisa runs through the airport and gets into the shuttle, whose doors are locked right in front of the running terrorist.

She steals an SUV to gain time and uses his mobile phone. Lisa calls the hotel to warn them that Kifa is preparing an assassination attempt. Cynthia, Lisa’s assistant, the secret service of the secretary and his family run out of the room in just a few seconds before the rocket hits the hotel. Lisa tries to call her father, but cannot, as the battery of her mobile phone runs out. Lisa instantly decides to go to her father's house in order to catch Rippner in time.

At the father’s house, the girl finds a hit man at the front door. She crushes him with an SUV, crashing into the front of the house. Lisa’s father comes out of the kitchen and is shocked by the sight of the man who lies dead in the lobby, and tells Lisa: the police are on their way. When Lisa calls the hotel, Rippner enters the house and begins to chase Lisa around the house with a knife. He catches up with her and throws down the stairs. Lisa finds a gun and shoots, but Jack still comes and grabs her hair. At this moment, a shot is heard - Lisa's father shoots a terrorist. At the hotel, Charles Kif thanks Lisa and Cynthia for saving the family and himself from the murder.
