Efate (lat.) Is a genus of araneomorphic spiders from the subfamily Agoriinae in the family of racehorse spiders ( Salticidae ).

Etymology
Efate ( eng. Efate ) island of the Republic of Vanuatu , where he found the first open species - E. albobicinctus . Another racehorse genus, Araneotanna, is also named after an island in Vanuatu .
Description
Representatives of the genus look like ants, reaching a length of 3-5 mm.
