Giovanni II Partecipazio

The son of Orso I Partecipazio , the last taken as co-ruler. After the death of his father in 881, he himself became a doge. Being seriously ill, he pleaded unable to rule. The Venetians, who did not want the abdication of Giovanni II, gave him doge Pietro I Candiano as co-rulers in April 887 . Five months later, Pietro I was killed during an expedition against the pirates and Dzhania II was forced to return. After being elected in 888, the Doge Pietro Tribuno Giovanni II renounced.
