Biography
He studied music with his father, who moonlighted as an organist in the city, and then with the city organist Rudolf Lassel (1861-1918), a student of Salomon Yadasson . In 1896 - 1899 student of the Leipzig Conservatory , at the same time led the choir team. Then he returned to his hometown and headed the city male choir, in 1918 he took the post of bandmaster in the city orchestra, in 1928 he received the title of general director of music . In 1935 , Richter was awarded the highest recognition for the musician in the German Semigradier: he was invited to the post of head of the Hermania Music Society in the central city of the region - Hermanstadt , but the next year he was forced to leave this post and return to Kronstadt.
Richter owns several symphonies, many works for organ (including organ sonatas), choral music, chamber compositions, among which Sonata for violin and piano (1935) stands out.
