Name Selection
The original name “ The Universe in a Nutshell” is a pun that cannot be translated into Russian. The title refers to a quote from Hamlet: “Oh my God, I could lock myself in a nutshell and consider myself the king of infinite space [1] .” In English, “in a nutshell” is translated as “briefly” [2] . A grammatically more correct translation could be, for example, the “Brief History of the Universe” variant, which would also be intertwined with the title of another book by S. Hawking “A Brief History of Time” [3] , however, in this case, a reference to Shakespeare would be lost.
