Biography

Born into a family of ballet soloists from the Moldavian Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Ludmila Nedremskoi and Vitaly Poklitaru. He started practicing classical dance at the age of 4.5 years in the studio at the Chisinau Palace of Pioneers. He studied at the Moscow Academic Choreographic School (1983-1984), Odessa Ballet School (1984), Kishinev Musical College named. Stefan Nyagi (1985).

In 1986 he entered the Perm State Choreographic School , which he graduated in 1991 in the class of Alexander G. Sakharov (specialty - ballet dancer). In 1991 he joined the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus . The dancer is a pronounced characteristic, acting talent.

In 1992, he starred in the movie "Dancing Ghosts" based on the story by Yuri Korotkov "Willis." In the credits there is a slightly different surname - Poklitar (the role of the Gene Demin).

In 1994 he entered the Belarusian Academy of Music at the established department of choreography. On April 21, 1996, Radu Poklitaru's ballet master debut took place - the Belarusian Choreography College hosted the premiere of the “Intersection Point” miniature to the music of Arcangelo Corelli performed by Olga Gaiko and Alexey Ovechkin. In 1999, Radu Poklitaru protects a diploma in the following specialties: choreographer (in the class of Valentin Nikolaevich Elizariev), art critic (in the class of Yulia Mikhailovna Churko) and teacher of the theory of choreography. The ballet master's diploma performance was Igor Stravinsky's Fairy Kiss, staged in 1999 at the Bolshoi Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus.

The first fame of Rada Poklitaru brought miniatures created by him for the dancers, participants of international competitions of ballet dancers. The creative union of the young choreographer with soloists of the Minsk Musical Theater, Yulia Dyatko and Konstantin Kuznetsov, turned out to be especially fruitful. Among the works created by the creative trio are miniatures: “Bagatel” to Beethoven’s music, Belarusian Liturgy, His Music to Blackmore’s music, Adagio to Tchaikovsky’s music, Improvisation against a wall ivy-twined to Bach’s music, “ Three Georgian Songs ”,“ Barcarolla ”to the music of Offenbach , as well as one-act performances“ Moments ”based on the poetry of C. Balmont ,“ The world does not end at the door of the house ”to the music of Depre and Mahler ,“ The Vision of the Rose ”to the music of K. Weber ,“ In PIVO veritas ”on Irish folk music and Renaissance music. In the 2000-2001 season he worked as chief choreographer of the Moldavian National Opera. Due to the change of political leadership of the country, the Minister of Culture of Moldova and the Directorate of Theater, the choreographer was forced to resign from this position.

From 2001 to 2006 - a freelance artist. During this period, he created ballets on the stages of Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Russia, which secured the glory of one of the main conductors of contemporary dance and progressive ballet direction in the post-Soviet space for Rada Poklitaru. " Pictures from the exhibition " to the music of M. Mussorgsky and " The Holy Spring " by Igor Stravinsky in the National Opera of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko , "The Seven Deadly Sins" by Kurt Weil in the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater , " Cinderella " by Sergei Prokofiev in the Latvian National Opera and Many other large-scale creative projects of Radu Poklitaru always became events that received a lively response from the audience and the artistic elite.

Significant in the fate of the choreographer was the creation in the creative tandem with the famous English director D. Donnellan the play " Romeo and Juliet " at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia (2003). The huge public resonance, violent controversy in the press and on the sidelines of the theater became a reaction to the emergence of a new, revolutionary version of the famous ballet in the repertoire of the country's main musical theater.

September 2016 - received the title of "People's Artist of Moldova".

August 2017 - received the title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine"

The creation of the theater "Kiev modern ballet"

In 2006, on the initiative and with the full financial support of the well-known Ukrainian philanthropist Vladimir Filippov, Radu Poklitaru creates the author's theater “ Kiev Modern Ballet ”. As a result of the all-Ukrainian casting, 16 young dancers were selected. At the same time, the presence of academic ballet education was not a necessary condition for admission to the company.

The official date of birth of the team is October 25, 2006. This day in Kiev on the stage of the National Drama Theater. I.Franko held the premiere of the ballet in two series “Carmen. TV.

For its debut performance, the theater received two awards “ Kiev Pectoral ” at once - in the nominations “Best Performance of the Year” and “Best Choreographer's Work”. The singer of the role of Carmen Olga Kondakova was nominated as “The Best Performer of the Woman's Role”.

In the conditions of creative freedom, together with artists Anna Ipatieva and Andrey Zlobin, Radu Poklitaru in a short time creates a diverse repertoire of the theater. Already in 2008, the theater received the main theater award of the country " Kiev Pectoral " in a specially created nomination "Main Event of the Year" for a set of bright premieres - "The Verona myth: Shakespeare", "Bolero", "Rain" and " Nutcracker ". Speech at festivals in France (“Time to Love”, Biarritz), Moldova (“Biennale E. Ionesco”), Thailand (“Festival of Music and Dance”, Bangkok ), Russia (program “Mask Plus” of the festival “ Golden Mask ” 2009 and 2010, Moscow and the New Horizons Festival Mariinsky Theater , St. Petersburg ) speak of the recognition of the collective by the international artistic community.
