153rd Submarine Brigade

The 153rd Red Banner Submarine Brigade (abbreviated as: 153rd BPL ) is the formation of the Submarine Forces of the Black Sea Fleet that existed from 1951 to 1994 .

Connection History

The brigade was formed on January 27, 1951 on the basis of the management of a separate training submarine division of the Black Sea Fleet and was included in the 21st submarine division . In 1957, it was reorganized into the 153rd separate training brigade. In 1975 she was awarded the Order of the Red Banner.

At different times, the crew consisted of 6 submarines (submarines) of the Baby type, 3 submarines of the Sredny type; Project 613 submarines: C-70 , C-96 , C-97 , C-147 , C-157 , C-217 , C-165 , C-287 , C-296 , C-344 , C-338 ; two submarines of project 633: S-38 , S-350 ; Submarines of projects 641, 641B, 877; Project B-78 submarine AB611, Magomet Gadzhiev floating base , two discharge-charging stations, PZS-23, PZS-24, 574 US, 507 coastal base.
