Warhead (fleet)

Large ships can have up to seven combat units, which, in turn, are divided into divisions , groups , batteries , towers , teams , squads and are indicated by numbers from 1 onwards:

  • БЧ-1 - navigational ;
  • БЧ-2 - missile, or rocket-artillery, or artillery (depending on the composition of the armament of the ship);
  • БЧ-3 - mine-torpedo;
  • БЧ-4 - communications;
  • БЧ-5 - electromechanical.
  • БЧ-6 - aviation
  • БЧ-7 - radio engineering (control).

Warheads are led by commanders and staffed with specialists for servicing weapons and technical equipment. Small ships can have combined warheads, for example: БЧ-1-БЧ-4 .

At the head of each warhead is a commander .

The crew division into combat units was introduced in 1932 by the Naval Forces Naval Charter of the Red Army ; charters KU-39, KU-43, KU-51, KU-59, KU-78 and KU-2001 in the ship organization made some adjustments [1] .

Difference between a warhead and a service

Along with combat units, the foundations of the ship organization presuppose the existence of services on the ship. The following services are obligatory on each ship: SL-X - radiation, chemical and biological protection SL-M - medical SL-S - supply

In addition, depending on the specialization and design features of the warship, other services can be created on it.

At the head of each service is a boss .
