Dzhanskoiskoye gas field ( Ukrainian: Dzhankoyske gas line ) - a gas field located in the Dzhankoysky region ( Crimea ). Belongs to the Black Sea-Crimean oil and gas region . The nearest town is Dzhankoy , 10 km.
Feature
It is located in the North Crimean zone of the Karkinitsko-North Crimean trough . The Dzhankoy fold, which is a suspended brackets anticline of sub-latitudinal strike in the Paleogene - Neogene formations, was discovered in 1948. Industrial gas content was proved in 1962 - four gas-bearing horizons were found in Maykop rocks (336-525; 849-892; 627-655; 523 -560 m). Sandy- silty rocks are productive. Pore-fractured collectors. The initial gas reserve from the produced category A + B + C 1 is 5,790 million m³. The field has been operating since 1970. 3 203 million m³ of gas were produced (56.2% of the initial reserves).
