Biography
He was a student of Alimpiya Galika in the icon-painting workshop of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra . Around 1754 he worked at the Holy Cross Monastery ( Poltava ). Since 1762, he was appointed the painting head of the Sophia Monastery ( Kiev ). Famous works: a portrait of Nectaria (in the world of Natalia Dolgoruky, now in the Chernigov Museum named after V. Tarnovsky ), Dmitry ( 1769 , in the State Museum of Decorative Arts ).
