Story
The famous Viennese doctor Joseph Breyer comes an exalted Russian visitor Lou Salome , who asks the doctor to help her friend Friedrich Nietzsche . Fascinated by the girl, Breyer agrees. However, the contact of the doctor and the philosopher was not initially established; Nietzsche agrees to help only after he smashes the mirror with his head. In turn, Breyer himself suffers from psychological, including moral problems associated with the conflict between the attraction to beautiful patients and the duty to his wife.
Then the doctor offers the philosopher a deal - Breyer treats Nietzsche for "migraine", and he, in turn, gives the doctor the opportunity to talk about his problems. Josef shares his idea with his young friend Sigmund Freud .
Under the influence of Nietzsche, Breyer decides to find true freedom - to leave his wife and connect with his former patient Berta. However, it turns out that Berta was already carried away by another doctor. Joseph shaves his beard, settles in as a waiter in a cafe, where Freud accidentally meets him. Breyer runs away from him and falls into the water ... and wakes up. It turns out that Freud hypnotized his friend, which helped the latter to resolve his internal conflicts. Breyer meets Nietzsche again, and they discuss their women. It turns out that the philosopher’s problems remained unresolved , and Nietzsche decides to go his own way. The doctor and philosopher are parting friends. The history of the relationship between Joseph and Bertha was then described in a joint book by Breyer and Freud, with which psychoanalysis began.
