Monuments of nature Syzran - protected natural areas of the city of Syzran (in the Samara region ), which are rare, noteworthy objects of living or inanimate nature, attributed to the nature monuments of local importance .
In the city of Syzran, currently there are six protected natural objects classified as state nature monuments of local significance:
- The water area of the HPP reservoir is a zone of sanitary and biological protection of the water area (100 hectares ), recognized as a natural monument by the decision of the Syzran city executive committee N 69 dated 02.24.1987 and approved by the decision of the Syzran executive committee N 386 dated 03.11.1987. Coordinates:
- Mountain hydroelectric power station - Monastic mountain (277 hectares). It is an elevated plateau with dune sands prone to wind erosion , planted in 1950 by Syzran timber industry enterprise with pine, birch, larch and shrubs. On the south side it adjoins the water area of the hydroelectric reservoir, forming with it a single natural complex. Recognized as a monument of nature by the decision of the Kuibyshev Regional Executive Committee N 566 of 09/28/1967
- Black poplar (long-lived tree, K. Marx st., 83). Recognized as a monument of nature by the decision of the Syzran executive committee N 69 dated 02/24/1987 and approved by the decision of the Kuibyshesky regional executive committee N 386 dated 03.11.1987 [1] . Coordinates:
- Dendrology Park named after the 60th anniversary of the VOOP. Located in the territory of JSC "Plastic", an area of 8 hectares. It is a park area and a place of recreation for employees. Recognized as a monument of nature by the decision of the Syzran executive committee N 69 dated 02/24/1987 and approved by the decision of the Kuibyshev regional executive committee N 386 dated 03.11.1987.
- Kashpirsky outcrops of Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments. Area 12 hectares. Exposures have great scientific and cognitive value. They were discussed at the 27th International Congress in Moscow in 1984 and at the International Conference in Samara in 2015.
- Balsam poplar (long-lived tree, Ulyanovskaya st., 70). Is in disrepair. Preserving the status of a specially protected natural object is considered inexpedient [1] . Coordinates:
