Created on the basis of the collection of folk art acquired by the management of the SUA in 1933 from the cooperative Ukrainian folk art in Lviv . The basis of the ethnographic collection is made up of fabrics , embroideries , carpets , folk clothes , ceramics , metal products, Easter eggs.
The museum hosts various ethnographic exhibitions, pysanka writing courses; exhibitions of fine art , children's art. The Ukrainian Museum functions as a corporation , headed by B. Tsymbalist, director - M. Shust, kustos - O. Grabovich.
