Biography
She graduated from the gymnasium of Vasilyanok's sisters in Lviv . She started medical education in Montpellier ( France ), and graduated from Vienna University , where she received the degree of Doctor of Medicine ( 1941 ).
In 1941 - 1944 she worked in the Lviv University Clinic and the city hospital (hospital). In 1944 she left for Vienna, then to Munich , where she was a doctor at the International Refugee Organization .
June 15, 1946 she married Emelyan Antonovich. In 1949, she and her husband emigrated to the United States . She worked at the Georgetown University Medical Center as an instructor, assistant professor, and professor (since 1974 ). Over the 20-year period of work, she was awarded a gold medal at the university.
In 1968 she headed the Department of Nephrology at the Institute of Pathology of the American Armed Forces . Her professional and scientific activities are also associated with J. Washington University (since 1961 ) and the Military University of Medical Sciences.
She died on September 23, 2001 in Washington , and was buried in Lvov .
Scientific Activities
The main works of Tatiana Mikhailovna are devoted to the defeat of the blood vessels of the kidneys , systemic lupus erythematosus and changes in the kidneys in AIDS .
