A cement truck (mortar truck) is a machine for transporting cement over short distances and medium (up to 300 km).
Classification
Cement trucks are classified according to the following characteristics.
- By type of transported raw materials:
- Mortar carrier;
- Cement truck;
- By capacity:
- lungs (from 30 to 70 kN);
- medium (from 70 to 120 kN);
- heavy (over 120 kN).
- By loading method:
- self-loading;
- non-bootable.
Design
The cement truck is a special tank mounted at an angle of 6–9 ° on the truck .
Compressors are installed on cement trucks , which, when unloading, supply air to the solution to increase fluidity and facilitate unloading (the fluidization property is used). When loading, the compressors operate as a vacuum pump .
In order to avoid stratification of the solution during transportation (due to the action of vibration), paddle impellers are installed inside the tanks, which mix the solution.
