Chernigov School Theater A.P. Dovzhenko ( Ukrainian: Chernigiv Lyalkovsky Theater ime. O.P. Dovzhenko ) - Regional Puppet Theater in Chernigov ( Ukraine ). The theater building is designed for 140 seats.

History
Chernihiv Puppet Theater was founded in 1976 . In 1985 , the theater organized the Youth Theater Stage Studio. In 1988 , the Chernihiv Theater for Children and Youth was created on the basis of the theater, which in 1996 separated into its own theater - Regional Youth Theater (4 Rodimtseva St.). In 2006, the theater celebrated its 30th anniversary with the holding of the βPuppet Opening Dayβ creative action, during which the best performances of the collective were demonstrated, as well as the theaters of colleagues from Kiev and Kherson . The basis of the theaterβs repertoire is performances for children.
