In the debut game for Evdokimov, as a head coach of a professional team, a victory was won away over Energetik ( Uren ), which was higher in the standings and rarely lost at home [9] . After which he moved to Izhevsk SOYUZ-Gazprom and in 2009 brought him to third place in the Ural-Volga region of the second division .

In 2010, according to the results of a survey of clubs, he was recognized as the best coach of the first division [12] , and in the nomination of the “Favorite” award held by the OneDivision.ru portal, he took 2nd place [13] [14] . KAMAZ then took the 4th place in the first division tournament (and would have taken the third if it had won the last match against FC Nizhny Novgorod ) and could have entered the Premier League, but FC Krasnodar was included in the Premier League for financial capabilities " [15] [16] . In 2011, KAMAZ at the first stage for a long time confidently walked among the leaders, but largely because of a series of six defeats in a row, the team was unable to finish in the top eight (taking 9th place) [17] , which continued to fight for the top places in the second stage in the games among themselves, spurt at the finish did not help: the lag from the sixth place as a result amounted to only one point, from the fifth to two [18] . At the end of the year, KAMAZ's financial problems worsened, and Evdokimov received an offer to head the Gazovik football club (Orenburg) [19] [20] .

Gazovik / Orenburg

Having adopted Orenburg Gazovik [21] (the contract was signed in early December for a period of 2.5 years [22] ), which was in a difficult tournament situation (the team had a shortage of points), almost decided to stay in the FNL (the second tournament was won stage of the transitional season), but the first defeat, which happened only in the final match with Baltika , did not allow us to save a place in the FNL [23] . Robert Evdokimov remained in the club, and Gazovik returned in just one season, winning the Ural-Volga region [24] , and then twice took 5th place in the FNL, simultaneously qualifying for the Russian Cup semifinal, where he lost to the Moscow penalty “ Lokomotiv ” (2015) [25] , and won the FNL Cup (2016) [26] , where Evdokimov was recognized as the best coach [27] . Twice in a row, Robert was recognized as the best coach of the season in the FNL in the seasons 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 [28] [29] . In 2016, “Gazovik” prematurely registered for the Premier League [30] [31] and won first place in the FNL [32] . In the Premier League, according to the results of the season (regular season), the club took 13th place and ended up in butt games , in which they lost to SKA Khabarovsk in the penalty spot (first match and return, plus extra time 0-0), after why there have been changes in the club’s coaching and management team, and Robert Evdokimov left the club [33] [34] .

On July 7, 2017, he headed the Tobol club of the Kazakhstan Premier League ( Kostanay ) as head coach. [35] . In a debut match under the leadership of Evdokimov, “Tobol” away won the participant of the qualification of the Europa League Pavlodar “ Irtysh ” [36] [37] . At the end of the season, “Tobol” took fifth place and could not make it to the Europa League, being 1 point behind the “Irtysh” [38] , although during the championship, under Evdokimov, “Tobol” twice beat “Irtysh” on his field [39] after which the contract with Evdokimov was not renewed [40] [41] .

May 29, 2018 was appointed head coach of the Rotor club [42] . After losing to the Syzran-2003 club in the 1/32 final of the Cup of Russia , he announced that he would ask the club management for resignation. This decision was preceded by a series of expressionless games performed by "Rotor" in the FNL tournament. In turn, the team players sided with Evdokimov and made a request to the leadership to leave him in office. As a result, the resignation was not accepted. [43] On November 24, 2018, after a home defeat (1: 3), Shinnik was dismissed. At the time of dismissal, "Rotor" after 24 rounds scored 28 points and took 15th place in the standings [44] .
