Successfully opposed the Bastars , blocking their progress in Transylvania . The ancient Roman historian Trog Pompey wrote that Orol punished his warriors by forcing them to sleep at the feet of their wives and do their homework for them, since initially they were defeated in the fight against the invaders. “Motivated" in this way, the Dacian forces defeated the Bastarn, and Orol lifted the sanctions [1] .
