Content

History

The village named after E. Telman ( state farm named after Telman) arose on the lands of one of the two former German colonies - Upper Izhorskaya (1st) , which appeared here about 250 years ago. It is mentioned as the village of the Colonists on the map of the St. Petersburg province of 1792 by A. M. Wilbrecht [3] .

On the “Topographic Map of St. Petersburg Environs” of the Military Topographic Depot of the General Staff of 1817, it is designated as Izhora Colony of 16 courtyards [4] .

IZHORA COLONY - the village of colonists, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 310 m. P., 264 g. p. (1838) [5]

In the description of the province from 1838, the Upper and Lower (1st and 2nd) Izhora colonies were taken into account jointly.

IZHORA COLONY 1-I - belongs to the State Property Office, along a country road, the number of yards - 16, the number of souls - 174 m. (1856) [6]

The compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described it like this:

IZHORA (UPPER) COLONY - a former colony by the Izhora River, 32 yards, 554 inhabitants; rural municipality (13 miles to the county town), Lutheran house of worship, school, shop. Nearby are the Orthodox Church, the workshops of Izhora factories, a school, a hospital, shops, 3 inns, 2 taverns, and a fair on May 9th. 4 versts - railway station Kolpino. At 6 versts - a piston factory. (1885) [8] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the colony administratively belonged to the Kolpino volost of the 1st camp of the Tsarskoye Selo district of St. Petersburg province.

From the late XIX - early XX centuries, the Upper Colony began to actively develop towards the Lower Colony [9] .

In 1913, the Upper Izhora colony numbered 57 yards [10] .

From 1917 to 1920, the village of Kolpinskaya Colony , consisting of parts: Upper Village , Lower Village and Camp Village , was part of the Kolpino volost of the Detskoselsky district .

Since 1920, as part of the Kolpino Village Council of Izhora Volost.

Since 1923, as part of the Ulyanovsk volost of Gatchinsky district .

Since 1924, as part of the Yam-Izhora Village Council.

Since 1926, as part of the Kolpino Village Council.

Since February 1927, as part of the October Village Council. Since August 1927, as part of the Kolpino district .

Since 1928, again as part of the Yam-Izhora Village Council.

According to 1933, the colony was called the Kolpinskaya-German settlement and was part of the Yam-Izhora village council of the Tosno district [12] .

In 1940, the population of the village of Kolpino Colony was 1950 people.

From September 1, 1941 to January 31, 1944, the village was under occupation. After the war, not restored [11] .

According to 1966, the village was called the Estate of the state farm named after Telman and was part of the Krasnoborsky Council [13] .

According to 1973, in the village were located the central estates of the Kolpinsky and "them. Telman ” [14] .

According to 1990 data, 4780 people lived in the village of Telman . The village was the administrative center of the Telman village council, which included 4 settlements: the village of Pioneer, Yam-Izhora ; villages of Voiskorovo , Telman , with a total population of 7345 people [15] .

In 1997, 5127 people lived in the village of Telman, Telman volost, in 2002 - 5807 people (Russians - 91%) [16] [17] .

Geography

The village is located in the northern part of the Tosnensky district on the highway 41K-169 (access to the city of Kolpino), near the border with St. Petersburg (the municipal entity "City of Kolpino ").

The distance to the district center is 38 km [15] .

Infrastructure

Initially, after 1927, it was the land of the subsidiary farm of the Izhora plant . After 1933 it was a collective farm named after E. Telman, uniting the branches of Pioneer, Druzhnoye, Otradnoye and Kolpinsky state farm. Initially, the village was small, (central manor) - Finnish wooden houses. Since 1951, the first brick two-story houses appeared. In 1961, the first kindergarten was opened, and in 1967, the village cultural center.

With the growth of the state farm’s income, intensive construction of the housing estate was underway, a public house, shops were built, the village was landscaped. In 1975, a school was built.

Currently, there are 62 apartment buildings in the village and he came close to the city of Kolpino.
