Content

Geographical position

Located in the north of the Tosno district.

Borders:

  • in the north - with the Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg
  • in the east and south - with the Krasnoborsky urban settlement
  • in the west - with the Fedorovsky urban settlement

The territory of the settlement is crossed by the federal highway M10 ( E 95 ) "Russia" Moscow - St. Petersburg ".

The distance from the administrative center of the settlement to the district center is 28 km [1] .

History

According to 1990 data, the Telmanovsky village council was formed in the Tosno district [2] .

January 18, 1994, by resolution of the head of the administration of the Leningrad region No. 10 “On changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the districts of the Leningrad region” [3], the Telman village council , like all other village councils in the region, was transformed into Telman volost .

The Telman rural settlement was established on January 1, 2006 in accordance with the regional law No. 116-oz dated December 22, 2004 “On the establishment of borders and the appropriate status of the municipality of the Tosnensky municipal district and municipalities in its composition”, it included the Telman volost [ 4] .
