Zaporizhia Shipbuilding and Shiprepairing Plant OJSC is a civil shipbuilding and ship and ship repair company for the needs of the river and sea fleet located in the city of Zaporozhye ( Ukraine ). Branch of the joint-stock shipping company " Ukrrichflot " (since 2001).

The plant has been leading its history since 1913, when ship repair workshops were established that carried out the construction, repair and restoration of cargo and passenger ships on the Lower Dnieper. Since 1937 - a shipyard, which also built tugboats and barges [2] .
During the Nazi occupation it was destroyed. He restored his activity in 1944 and was under the jurisdiction of the Dnieper Military Recovery Administration. From August 1, 1945, it was part of the management system of the Dnieper River Shipping Company, from July 18, 1956 it was subordinated to the Main Directorate of the Dnieper River Shipping Company under the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR [3] .
Production Facilities
The plant has the following production facilities [4] :
- slip G-150, for lifting vessels weighing up to 800 tons, length up to 90 m, width up to 16 m;
- floating dock for lifting ships weighing up to 5,000 tons, length up to 135 m, width up to 20 m;
- forage elevator for lifting ships weighing up to 327 t;
- floating workshop.
Shipbuilding
In 2008, launching in Zaporozhye, the joint-stock shipping company Ukrrichflot completed the production of a series of five non-self-propelled barges of the Europa-M type. Non-self-propelled barges of the Europa-M type, the construction of which began in 2005, were developed by the design bureau of JSSC Ukrrichflot in 2004. Its length is 76 m, its width is 11.4 m, and its carrying capacity is 2,080 tons [5] .
