Biography
Nikolay Simorot was born in 1928 in the village of Olshan in the Prilutsk district, in the family of a farmer.
In 1953 he graduated from the Lviv Medical Institute. Post-graduate training was held at the Department of Anatomy of the Lviv Medical Institute .
In 1965 , after defending his dissertation, he was sent to the Department of Anatomy of the Voroshilovgrad Medical Institute .
Received the title of associate professor at the Grodno Medical Institute . While working as vice-rector for research at the Grodno State Medical Institute , in 1972 he defended his doctoral dissertation "The circulatory system of the gastrointestinal tract in case of stepped gastrectomy and gastrectomy."
From 1991 to 1,997 he was the head of the department of topographic anatomy and operative surgery, from 1997 - the head of the course of topographic anatomy and operative surgery. [2]
Scientific activity
Nikolay Simorot is a pupil of the scientific school of academician V.V. Kovanov. [2] Scientific direction - morphological and functional justification of surgical interventions on the abdominal organs, organ-specific features of the course of the wound process and the search for adequate ways of its regulation.
He is the author of 185 scientific papers, including 1 monograph and 4 study guides. The author of several rationalization proposals. Under his leadership, completed 1 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations. [2]
