Biography

Born in the city of Stalin, Kemerovo region. In 1968 he graduated from the Siberian Metallurgical Institute with a degree in Heat Engineering and Automation of Metallurgical Furnaces and was qualified as a metallurgical engineer. Since 1968, he began working as an assistant in the department of metallurgical furnaces at the Siberian Metallurgical Institute , while simultaneously doing research work. Since 1974, Associate Professor of the Department of Thermophysics and Industrial Ecology, Siberian State Industrial University .

In 1982 he successfully defended his thesis on the topic “Investigation of the decarburization process during high-speed heating for rolling.” The PhD thesis is devoted to decarburization and burning of metal during high-speed heating before hot pressure treatment. Reducing the length of metal stay at surface temperatures causing intense oxidation and decarburization is an effective way to reduce metal loss and decrease decarburized layer [3] . When mastering the new capacities of ZSMK , effective research work was carried out on heating wells and to study the oxidation of steel in the production cycle, to determine the cost of heating according to redistribution [1] .

Mikhailenko Yuri Egorovich worked on improving the thermal technologies of fire processes in industrial units. The methods he developed for heating metal and burning fuel increased the energy and environmental efficiency of thermal processes and improved product quality. He has published more than 100 scientific papers and 10 inventions. for the introduction of an invention that was created after 1973, the badge was awarded to the Inventor of the USSR . Successfully completed a course of industrial audits as part of the US Agency for International Development's Environmental Policy and Technology Project, Novokuznetsk, Russia September 14 - October 21, 1994.

He also participated in the improvement of educational technologies, using modern information capabilities and using computer technology during training sessions with students. Student research work under his leadership was presented at the All-Russian competitions, where they were awarded diplomas and diplomas for the creative management of diploma design in the field of metallurgy [4] [5] Many times he was thanked in orders of the Siberian State Industrial University , was awarded the badge of MB and MTR of the USSR "For excellent success in work" and a certificate of honor from the Administration of Novokuznetsk [6]
