NGC 7771

NGC 7771 (other designations are PGC 72638 , UGC 12815 , IRAS23488 + 1949 , MCG 3-60-35 , KCPG 592B , ZWG 455.58 , KAZ 348 , KUG 2348 + 198C ) is a spiral galaxy with a jumper ( SBa ) in the Pegasus constellation.

This object is one of those listed in the original edition of the New General Catalog .

The galaxy is located at a distance of about 294 million light years from us; [1] It actively interacts with the neighboring galaxy NGC 7770 .

On August 18, 2003, a supernova SN 2003hg was detected in the galaxy. [2]
