Content

History

The team was founded in 1985 with the financial support of the Belgian national lottery Lotto. In 2003, it teamed up with the Belgian cycling team Domo. In 2005, a contract was signed with the new main sponsor of the pharmaceutical company Omega Pharma. In the same year, the team debuted in the newly formed UCI ProTour . Since 2015, the title sponsor (which is displayed in the name) of the team is the Belgian company Soudal - a manufacturer of polyurethane foams, adhesives, sealants and roofing seals.
