Khojabad District ( Uzbek. Khazhaobod fogi, Xo'jaobod tumani ) - fog located in the southeast of Andijan region ( Uzbekistan ). It was founded in September 29, 1926 , in 1973 the Jalakuduk district was separated, in 1992 - the Bulakbashi district . The capital is the city of Khojaabad .

Feature
The relief is represented by the mountains Chilustun and Kirshangan , the Alai Range ; as well as adyrs and plains. Climate of high subtropical highlands . The average temperature in July is +26.7 ˚С, in February −3.5 ˚С. The average annual rainfall is 300-350 mm. On the territory of the district are Shahrihansay , Akburasay , South Ferghana Canal ; 5 pumping stations. The banks of rivers and sais are reinforced with granite . Soils mainly in adyrs are light and typical gray soils . Mineral resources: oil , natural gas , limestone , crushed stone and granite .
