The source of Vorozhba is located on the territory of the Udomelsky district in the tract Yazvikha at an altitude of 203 meters above sea level, at a distance of 5 kilometers from the village of Shishelovo in the Zarechensky rural settlement . The length of the watercourse is 64 km. [2]
The mouth of the river is located near the village of Lunacharskoye in the Maksatikhinsky district at an altitude of 133.1 meters above sea level.
The river flow is calm, fueled mainly by streams flowing from the swamps, which gives the water a brownish tint. In its upper reaches, Vorozhba flows through the village of Venetsianovo , the place where the Russian painter A. Venetsianov spent a long creative period and was buried.
